For the very first time, you have the opportunity to enhance players in your club through Ultimate Team Evolutions – a brand-new method to construct your squad around your favorite players. Select players that meet the Evolutions criteria and accomplish a series of objectives to boost their individual skills, PlayStyles, and overall ratings, ensuring they remain competitive throughout the year.
Additionally, you’ll have the ability to upgrade their Player Items’ appearance with fresh designs and animated backgrounds, allowing you to showcase your homegrown Evolutions players and the milestones they’ve achieved for your Club to your opponents.
Upgrades
Player Evolutions present us with an opportunity to enhance five aspects of our cards:
- Stats
The in-game statistics of a player, including skill moves and weak foot. - Overall Rating
The overall rating displayed on top of the card. - PlayStyles
The newest feature introduced in EA Sports FC 24, providing unique traits and abilities to players. - Position
In rare cases, the position of a card may be changed to another one, especially if it is a special item - Appearance
As the card is being upgraded, its appearance changes, with new dynamic and animated backgrounds.

No, there are predefined Evolutions criteria that a player must meet (for example: silver midfielder from Serie A). As there are multiple Evolutions available simultaneously, you can choose different players as long as they meet the criteria.

The objectives for the selected players have to be completed within a set period, typically ranging from one to two UT seasons.
Each Evolution has a predetermined number of levels. To advance through each level, you must fulfill a specific set of in-game objectives. Upon completion, your player card will be upgraded. As the levels increase, the objectives become more challenging.
Your cards receive visual upgrades as soon as you finish a level. This way, other players will recognize that they are evolved cards.
Once you have completed all the levels, and your card is at its maximum evolution, there will be no more objectives for you to complete. However, it doesn’t mean you won’t be able to further evolve that card. In the upcoming seasons, there might be an opportunity for you to take your evolved card and enhance it even further. The idea is to choose a card from the beginning and evolve it throughout the entire game.
